About the Designer: The designer behind this animal ghost project is @autumny_crochet – every Friday, she brings the most creative sets of crochet combo amigurumi tutorials from the fruit octopus, a whole playlist of capybara and ex theme combo, and a mushroom set. Other designs are also highly creative, like the One Piece Pirate Mushrooms inspired by the anime, as well as a variety of fruity accessories and animals. However, she is particularly known for their imaginative Capybara series, which combines the animal with other characters, such as the “Capysune” and “Capirita.”
Note: In respect of the creator’s pattern rights, there will be no provision of the written pattern. You can watch the tutorial with on-screen instructions at the end of this post.
Crochet Animal Ghosts Tutorial
Skill Level: Intermediate. You will learn the main boo pattern that is the same for all, and then features specific to the design, like pumpkin, wings, ears, a witch hat, and even horns. You will need the same amigurumi techniques and stitches, including chain, magic ring, slip knot, single crochet, increase, decrease, slip stitch, bobble stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, and double crochet increase. For example, pumpkin needs working in the round and then using thread plus sewing to form the ridge shape. Similarly, for the arms, you need bobble stitch.
Tutorial Timing: Approximately 1 hour and 11 minutes only. (This set of amigurumi will teach you a lot about amigurumi design! The teaching is made very fast, making it worth watching. Since you will use almost all amigurumi techniques, try to practice crocheting a pumpkin and a witch hat.)
Personalization Tips: You can swap the accessories for the amigurumi, like crocheting the pumpkin head for the crochet cat and wings for the capybara. You can also use the regular black safety eyes since the tutor uses colored ones. Crochet one using the plush yarn. This project is basically to teach the personalization, so no need for further adjustments!
Pattern Type: A detailed on-screen written pattern is available if you find written instructions easy to follow along with.
