Crochet Labubu Girl Dress Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate. The Labubu dress is worked as a single piece from top to bottom. The bow is attached separately. Beginning flat, using foundation chains, you will join the ends to make a base circle whose length must be enough for Labubu.
Chain-skipping will be used for crocheting the shoulder straps as you-go. For getting height and the flexible clothing, you will be using double crochet mostly, but single crochet is also used.
Also
In the ruffle, you will be using the color changes, double crochet clusters, plus work these stitches in BLO and FLO. The bow appliqué is crocheted by working flat and making a knot!
About Tutorial
Tutorial Timing: Approximately 25 Minutes (perfect for practicing the baby girl dresses without getting tired, as the dress pattern is scalable easily. You will also learn how to crochet a bow, which is used in so many accessories and amigurumi projects like the Christmas bell, crochet bear, and even crochet ghost.
Plus a beautiful edging that is so useful for decorations, and the ruffle technique that is useful for crochet bucket hats. So, the tutorial is worth the time!)
Personalization Tips:
You can use any color with the white, depending upon the occasion, like red and white with a green bow for Christmas, and orange and white with a green bow for fall.
For adjusting the size for a larger Labubu, just measure around the waist of the Labubu and check if your foundation chains match that.
You can complete the set with a crochet flower headband, like in the crochet rose Labubu dress set or flower dress. It is also perfect for the “Have a Seat” Labubu doll.
Pattern Type: The on-screen written pattern is available if you find written instructions easy to follow along with. Also, the tutorial is slow-paced.
