About Christmas Tree Tutorial
Quick Summary & Skill Level: This anti-stress Christmas tree is crocheted in one piece, worked from the top down, with the upper green part intentionally left unstuffed to maintain its squeezable function.
You will be using the same Single Crochet (SC), Increases (Inc), and Puff Stitches (3 DC Cluster) while crocheting the green part. Once the widest part is reached, the next SC rounds use the Back Loop Only (BLO) for the first Decrease (Dec) round.
The yarn is then switched to brown to crochet the trunk, with the first brown round worked into the Front Loops Only (FLO) of the last green round.
To finish, colored yarn scraps are used to embroider ornaments on the green segments, and half-cotton yarn is used to embroider the face (mouth, eyebrows, or eyelashes) on the trunk. In the end, a yellow cluster stitch is attached to the top as a star.
Tutorial-Timing: 1 hour 8 minutes (perfect for learning so many things for Christmas)
