A puppet, jar cover, and key holder, an unstuffed ghost is the most versatile Halloween pattern, and here is the tutorial for the cutest design from Go Studio. Learn how to crochet a boo ghost key cover and bag charm with accessories like a witch hat and a pumpkin hat. The idea is to pull the witch hat or pumpkin to hide the keys and pull them out, holding a keyring. There are three oh-so cute color combos available: red, orange, and purple. The low-sew pattern is super quick. The ghosts also have hugging arms and smiles.

So, if you are interested in crocheting a quick Halloween keyring cover, continue reading this post till the end. There you will find the complete tutorial.

About the Designer: The designer behind this ghost key cover project is @CrochetGoStudio – her crochet library is all about the cute and mini plushies and keychains, mostly in with the set of variations and combos like fruit animal from autumny_crochet. Some of my favorite tutorials are for a Hello Kitty AirPods case, a mini parrot keychain, a reversible pumpkin doll, and a Spider-Man keychain. She also has a website with free patterns. I just love her creative designs, like the Hello Kitty guava pattern!

Note: In respect of the creator’s pattern rights, there will be no provision of the written pattern. You can watch the tutorial with on-screen instructions at the end of this post.

Cute Ghost Key Cover Tutorial

Skill Level: Intermediate. The boo ghost pattern works from top down to bottom with the wavy edging using the cluster or shell stitch, chain, FLO, and chain skipping. For the arms, popcorn stitch and stitches of different heights for the pumpkin, and sewing for the stem and other features. As for stitches, you will need the same sc, inc, dec, color changes, BLO, hdc, dc, and more. So, overall, the project is especially for the intermediates.

Tutorial Timing: Approximately 13 Minutes. (The tutorial very cleverly teaches both types of boo ghost keyholder, starting from the main ghost pattern and then the accessories, making it super quick. You will also learn which changes are needed to make in amigurumi to make it a key cover. Plus, almost all amigurumi techniques!)

Personalization Tips: As mentioned, you can choose from a red witch hat, a purple and black & orange witch hat, and a green pumpkin hat. Choose the same color for the keyring strap as the accessory. The tutor uses felt mouth, but you can also use the thread and embroidery.

Pattern Type: A detailed on-screen written pattern is available if you find written instructions easy to follow along with.
