Crochet Mini Halloween Dog Tutorial
Skill Level: Intermediate. The ghost costume pattern is worked from a chain 5 oval base, which is quite small and also requires single crochet, increases, and slip stitches in various parts. Then, working around it, you will also use the chain skipping technique, along with non-turning chains and double crochet, for the head mask pattern. After it, the simple boo ghost pattern is worked using sc, inc, ch, sl st, etc.
The muzzle pattern is simply a non-uniform cone pattern unlike a witch hat, using an increasing pattern separately from the head. Similarly, it is for the ears. Crochet an unfinished sphere for the basket and needle tapestry pattern for the face. Chain stitches for the handle and sewing, too.
Tutorial Timing: 34 minutes only. (perfect for getting your hands on working with small parts, embroidering, and seamless sewing. The chain-skipping that is used in this puppy amigurumi is used in many other projects like no-sew bag handles, mesh stitch, and animal ghost pattern. You will also learn how to crochet a pumpkin basket, but in a mini size, whose pattern can also be extended.)
