Crochet Headband And Dress Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate. The Labubu frock pattern is first worked from the bottom up to the top and then from top to bottom to crochet the skirt extensively using color changes. Beginning flat using foundation chains, you will join the ends to make a base circle whose length must be enough for Labubu. For the fourth round, instead of single crochet, you will be using a combination of sc, hdc, and slip stitch to make the rounded edges for the top!
For the ruffle, use the double crochet clusters and chain. The rose flower applique is also worked as a twisted pattern using double crochet increase for the no-sew rose pattern!
Tutorial Timing: Approximately 24 Minutes (perfect for practicing the baby dresses without getting tired since you scale both the dress and headband pattern easily. You will also learn how to crochet a flower without sewing that can be crocheted in any color, like a sunflower, plus crocheting a basic head tie. So, the tutorial is worth the time!)
Personalization Tips: You can try a different color-combo other than the white and red like the one shown by the tutor (green and orange). Try like yellow and sea blue, green and white or orange and white! For adjusting the size for a larger Labubu, just measure around the waist of the Labubu and check if your foundation chains match that. The same will go for the crochet headband!
