Crochet Couple Cats Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginners – Intermediate. This pattern is worked in six parts, starting from the head to the body and the tail. All parts, including the heart applique, are worked in crochet rounds and then sewn using a needle. The main parts of the cat are made using the single crochet stitch, with increases and decreases used to shape the pieces.
Slip stitches to join rounds or finish off a piece. For the heart, the designer uses chain stitch, treble crochet, slip stitch, and double crochet stitches. Embroider the whiskers, eyes, and nose of the cat amigurumi dolls.
Tutorial Timing: 1 hour & 13 minutes (you will learn the basic kawaii animal doll pattern that can be used with little modification to crochet a dog, bear amigurumi, reindeer doll, and many more. Plus, the basic heart pattern is one of the most versatile decorations, like garlands, pillow decorations, and much more. Personalization Tips: As mentioned, you can choose from two color combos, but feel free to try your own, like brown and dark brown for a Siamese cat, black and white, or white and pink, and try color spots using color changes.
