Free Crochet Sloth Plushie Pattern for Kids

Learn how to crochet a no-sew Sid the Sloth plushie in grey color with a free and complete written pattern. The long-necked amigurumi Sid has been very popular nowadays. So, I decided to share a quick and huggable version. It has googly stuffed eyes and a cute nose.

It is worked from the bottom up, crocheting the tail and legs directly into the body construction. There is also an embroidery outline around that mouth that makes it look like a sticker, but that’s not the case. I will share both the US and UK patterns to crochet it. So, let’s get started.

The designer of this sloth plushie for kids is @aonikiri – she has expertise in “no-sew” crochet keychains and small plushies that are always so cute.

  2. Mouth: Embroider a wide smile with black thread. Use the nose to help anchor the “U” shape.

  3. Teeth: Cut two small white rectangles (one slightly larger/wonky) and glue them under the nose.

  4. Stuffing Note: Use a small tool to push stuffing into the neck so the head stays upright.
