How to Crochet Snowman Miffy Plushie for Kids
While a crocheted Miffy snowman is not a new idea, this is the first time you can learn to crochet one with a stitch-by-stitch tutorial. Additionally, this will be a low-sew, large Miffy snowman plushie, featuring a bright peppermint scarf, and can also be crocheted using fuzzy yarn.
I scanned other designs on the web and found that it is the most well-designed and accurate winter Miffy plushie.
Plus, it seems like this is even better than the store-bought fabric plushie version. You must crochet one and place it on your desktop for Christmas and any time of winter.
Crochet Snowy Miffy Plushie
If you have not seen it before, this crochet Miffy snowman is actually inspired by the scene “Miffy Makes a Snowman.” So, you can see how well the tutor has crocheted one. Also, you can crochet the scarf in either red and green or red and white.
This snowy plushie has a flat base, so you can place it on the table without any support. I have recently shared a tutorial for another cute snowman plushie, so you can check that, too.
Now, please continue reading this post till the end if you are ready to crochet these crochet snowmen. I will explain a bit more under the name “soft snowman“!
Designer of Snowman Miffy
The designer behind this pair of Miffy snowman plushies is @mikimeloco – she is a promising kawaii crochet designer, mostly popular for dessert and kawaii character plushies and amigurumi. They are must-haves.
Note: In respect of the creator’s pattern rights, there will be no provision of the written pattern. You can watch the tutorial with on-screen instructions.
Materials for Snowman Miffy
- She used a thin plush yarn named the DUWEN 1.5mm Matte Chenille Yarn Doll thread. You can buy this yarn from the link provided by the designer in the description. There is a way to make it larger by using super bulky yarn.
- For the other version, use the fuzzy yarn.
Other Notions:
- Red and white and hold them together.
- Oval eyes without the white part, as in the kawaii eyes
- 4/0 2.50mm or 5/0 3.00mm crochet hook
Fiberfill/Stuffing
Tapestry needle (for weaving in ends)
