Crochet Elegant Water Bottle Holder Patterns

Starting the “Summer’s Must-Have Supply” series today, I have these elegant water bottle holder patterns. I have named them elegant because three of them come with lovely themes, such as the tulip, banana, and the flower. The fourth one has a colorful, wavy striped pattern, and the last one has a diamond mesh pattern.

Similarly, you will find many handle patterns, such as the I-cord and the single crochet strap. I especially recommend that you crochet the square mesh holder if you are a beginner.

03 of 05 Crochet Mesh Bottle Holder

This lightweight bottle holder has a diamond-mesh design that stretches to fit various bottle sizes. Its open-stitch structure makes it breathable and quick-drying, perfect for keeping hydrated on the go.

Making Overview:

Crochet a flat circle of single crochets to fit your bottle’s base. For the body, work spiral rounds of long chain loops (5–7 chains) anchored by single crochets to create the mesh. Once it reaches the bottle’s shoulder, finish with a solid-stitch rim and a reinforced single crochet strap.

04 of 05 Crochet Wavy Water Bottle Holder

This gelato inspired bottle bag has a wavy texture created with alternating stitch heights and slip-stitch rows. It’s an ideal scrap yarn project that uses approximately 40g of sport-weight yarn to create a colorful accessory for your water bottle.

Making Overview:

Start with 6 single crochets in a magic ring, increasing over 10 rounds to reach 60 stitches. For the body, alternate a wavy row (a 15-stitch sequence of varying heights) with a row of back-loop slip stitches to define the texture.
