Crochet Strawberry Bunnies Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginner – Intermediate. The base bunny pattern is worked in rounds from the legs up to the head, single pieces. You will follow the same approach as in crocheting the dressed buddies. First, separately crochet the legs with many color changes, join them using a slip stitch, and continue working around. Color changes, BLO, slip stitch, and single crochet are used. However, to begin, you will crochet the arms and sew them using a crochet hook.
To begin the head, use the surface-stitching around. For the collar or strawberry calyx, you will also be using the double crochet and half-double crochet for a wavy collar, and sew the edges.
Tutorial Timing: Approximately 28 Minutes (You will learn the popular crochet doll base that was also used in the cat couple pattern, and any other crochet kawaii character doll. Plus, the surface stitching, seamless sewing, and the color changes are the things you will learn. The embroidery for the seeds, the beautiful edging for decorative projects, and crocheting the ears without sewing!)
Personalization Tips: The tutor presents two color-combos โ white for the body, pink for the dress, and green for the collar, and the same pink for the body, red for the dress, and the same green for the collar. For the seeds, you can also use the embroidery seeds in white. For the mouth, the tutor draws inspiration from the same miffy, but you can also crochet a basic smile. For a large plush size, you can also use the chenille yarn.
Pattern Type:ย A detailed on-screen written pattern is available if you find written instructions easy to follow along with.
