5 New Christmas Tree Patterns (Part 1)
Some newly added and two of my favorite Christmas tree ideas from last year are here! So, find inspiration for your next Christmas project with these 5 of 10 free crochet Christmas tree patterns for all skill levels. In this part, however, I will share only the first five of them.

01 of 05 Christmas Tree Plushie
No-sew, colorful, and super soft, this Christmas tree plushie is a must-have last-minute gift and can be crocheted as a keychain. When finished, it will measure 14cm by 7cm using chenille yarn, ending up with a medium-sized keychain.
The snow edging of this Christmas tree is crocheted directly on the base by working in the front loops. You will especially love the plush star and pom poms in many colors.
Materials Needed

If you want a Christmas tree that can be placed on a desktop, crochet this Amigurumi Christmas Tree that is simple, quick, and no-sew. It uses a 6 cm wooden MDF base that is inserted into the trunk so that the tree stands upright.
It is perfect for decorating your home, office desk, or giving as a unique handmade souvenir. All it needs are four colors of yarn.

03 of 05 Christmas Tree Keychain

This Christmas tree uses a puff granny square with stripes of Christmas colors, with a bit of folding and sewing for turning it into a flat Christmas tree. 05 of 05 Christmas Tree and Bunny in Costume
Finally, the most special Christmas tree project! Learn how to crochet a Christmas Bunny plushie wearing a Christmas Tree costume following a detailed 1-hour tutorial for beginners.
A special feature of the bunny is puffy cheeks, while the Christmas tree is constructed in layers and decorated with a star and colorful ‘lights’ (popcorn stitches). The bunny is also low-sew and very well-designed. I have very high expectations for this, so try for sure!
Material Suggestion
- Yarn (Main): The tutorial uses Milk Cotton yarn (125g) for clearer demonstration, but the sample was made with Len Nhung Gấu (Teddy Velvet yarn). The project can be made with various yarns, including Milk Cotton, Velvet Cat, Velvet Stick, or other small-fiber yarns.
- Yarn Colors:
- White for the bunny.
- Green for the Christmas tree.
- Yellow for the star.
- Brown or Brown-Beige for the nose detail (a small piece of yarn is used for the dimple or indentation).
- Assorted colored yarn scraps for the colorful pom-pom-like decorations on the tree (alternative to pom-poms).
- Eyes: 8mm glass/crystal safety eyes (or similar decorative eyes).
- Nose: 6x8mm sticker/adhesive nose (can be substituted with embroidery).
- Stuffing: Polyester fiberfill (or similar stuffing material).
- Other Decorations: Small pom-poms (1 cm or 1.5 cm) or charms/beads for decorating the tree (optional).
