About Christmas Gnome Ornaments

Quick Summary & Skill Level: Beginner. The Santa hat is crocheted from the top down, in red yarn, using an increasing pattern. Once the main body is complete, the brim is added by crocheting an edge using clusters of double crochet (dc) stitches to create scallops. A small, separate piece is crocheted for the nose.

The hat is then stuffed with fiberfill, and a large pompom is created from white yarn. Finally, the pompom and nose are attached to the hat using a combination of sewing with a tapestry needle and securing the parts with liquid silicone glue.
