How to Crochet 3D Blossom Backpack for All Ages
For this year’s back-to-school, today, I have another flower bag variation from the “3D blossom bag” series. This is the no.2 in the series and last time you learned making a crochet flapped zipper stationary pouch using the hollow cotton yarn. Today, learn how to crochet this beautiful daisy blossom crochet backpack designed for all ages with a step-by-step English pattern. This is a much functional crochet bag compared to the learning time of just 35 minutes. Features the crocheted pockets, a flapped backpack for large items like books, a pocket in the back for stationary and a long wide crocheted strap.
The strap is also removeable with the metal rings. You will especially like that white slip stitch edging around the back pockets and the crochet daisy flower appliques in the middle. Just like the crochet bunny pouch, it is crocheted from the pink yarn. So, be sure to crochet one this fall or the next spring.
About the designer: The designer behind this flower-decorated crochet backpack is @chipphandmade – she is a crochet accessory and the bag designer. She also crochets the tops and sweaters for the girls and the woman, too.
Tutorial to Crochet A 3D Blossom Backpack
This beautiful crochet project helps you make a charming backpack decorated with 3D flowers. You start by crocheting a strong base and building the main body. Next, you add a small front pocket, side pockets, and cute top flaps to keep things safe. Then, you create long straps and attach them using metal rings for easy wearing.
A drawstring is woven through the top opening to pull it tightly shut. The final step is making bright floral accents. You use hot glue to attach colorful crochet flowers and leaves to the bag, giving it a sweet, unique, and lovely style.
