Tutorial to Crochet the Dumpling in a Basket Plushie
This video tutorial demonstrates how to crochet a cute amigurumi dumpling and a matching steamer basket. It is a beginner-friendly project because it uses basic stitches and works in simple rounds, although it does require some assembly and sewing to put the pieces together and add facial details.
Materials
Super bulky (size 6) yarn with a 7.0 mm hook (for a large size).
Sport (size 2, 5-ply) yarn with a 2.5 mm hook (for a small size).
Yarn in brown, white, light yellow, black (2mm cotton), and pink.
Yarn needle.
Stitch markers.
Fiberfill stuffing.
14 mm safety eyes (or stick-on eyes).
