How to Crochet the Bobble Stitch?

Bobble stitch is an epic no-sew technique for doll amigurumi. To begin, work a foundation of chains or any preferred base row. Then, yarn over and insert your hook into the designated stitch. Pull up a loop and yarn over again, pulling through the first two loops on your hook—this is the start of a double crochet.

Instead of completing the stitch, repeat the same process (yarn over, insert hook, pull up a loop, yarn over, and pull through two loops) into the same stitch multiple times, usually five or six, until you have multiple loops on your hook (including the starting loop).
