Crochet Sunflower Drawstring Bag

Making Your Sunflower Bag

  • Start the Flower: Crochet a little brown circle for the middle. Then, use yellow yarn to make puffy “popcorn” stitches for the petals.

  • Make Two Squares: Use green yarn to turn your round flower into a flat square. You’ll need to make two of these.

  • Stitch Together: Put your two squares together. Sew around the sides and the bottom, but leave the top open.

  • Add the Strings: Crochet two long yarn chains. Weave them through the gaps at the top of the bag.

  • The Finish: Just pull both strings at the same time to cinch the bag shut.
