However, the community has responded with the expected love and now I have five of more free crochet cup and bottle holder patterns. Luckily, all of them are gonna be the reversible pouches only. And the themes I have selected are includes four of which I have never shared a pattern before; that is the watermelon, puffy flower, cupcake and power flower charm. So, as it turns out, these are 2-in-1 water bottle holders. That’s why I have named them the transformable water bottle holders.

And as usual, they will require the diamond mesh crochet bag which many of you probably have already learned. Well, it also requires triple treble crochet which is a MUCH fun technique to learn and to do. The only repeated pattern of this series is the seashell but some of you demanded an English pattern, so I had to add that one, too.

01 of 05 Crochet Transformable 2 in 1 Bottle Holder

This clever 2-in-1 pattern is made to be completely “no-sew,” allowing you to carry your drink in a mesh net. It effortlessly folds away into a decorative sunflower keychain you can carry with your bag!

Quick Making Guide:

  • Sunflower Center (The Pocket): Using brown yarn, crochet two flat circles and join them along the edges to form a small pouch. This section acts as the sunflower’s face and double as a storage pocket for the mesh.

  • Mesh Net: Attach green or yellow yarn to the interior of the brown pocket. Crochet expanding rounds of long chain loops to create a flexible mesh net capable of holding various bottle sizes.

  • Petals: Work around the outer circumference of the brown center using yellow yarn. Crochet the petals using a sequence of half-double and double crochet stitches to create a vibrant floral look.

  • Handle & Drawstring: Create a single long, sturdy chain. This serves as the carrier’s handle and acts as a drawstring to pull the mesh net back inside the brown center when not in use.

  • Finishing: Attach a keychain ring or lobster clasp to the top, making it easy to clip onto a backpack or purse.
