Crochet Halloween Phone Bags Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginners. The entire pouch uses the ribbed stitch by working in the back post of the stitch and uses the taller stitch. You will be working in flat rows without any sewing needed, along with switching colors at once. The tutorial uses basic crochet stitches (single crochet, chain stitch, half-double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, and more).
Tutorial Timing: Approximately 8 Minutes (perfect for crocheting a last-minute gift for a dear one and even for yourself)
Personalization Tips: The pattern is super versatile. You can also crochet this phone bag using just the basic crochet stitches instead of post stitches, and it will end up nice. You can also choose a green and yellow shade for a yellow pumpkin or a pineapple phone bag. To adjust the size, simply increase or decrease the number of rows.
Pattern Type: The on-screen written pattern is available if you find written instructions easy to follow along with.

How to Crochet the Back Post Double Crochet?
The Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC) is a technique used to create textured, raised stitches that appear to sit behind the fabric. To crochet a BPDC, begin by yarn over and inserting your hook from back to front and then to back again around the post (the vertical part) of the stitch from the previous row.
Yarn over again and pull the loop back around the post, ensuring three loops are on your hook. Yarn over, pull through the first two loops, and yarn over again to pull through the remaining two loops.
