Full Crochet Pattern
1. Ghost Body (Use White Yarn)
Round 1: Make a MR, 6 sc into the ring. (6 sts)
Round 2: 6 inc. (12 sts)
Round 3: [1 sc, 1 inc] repeat 6 times. (18 sts)
Round 4: [2 sc, 1 inc] repeat 6 times. (24 sts)
Round 5: [3 sc, 1 inc] repeat 6 times. (30 sts)
Rounds 6 – 12 (7 rounds): 1 sc in each st around. (30 sts)
(Note: In the next step, we will create the wavy skirt of the ghost using the Front Loops, and continue the body base using the Back Loops.)
Round 13a (Skirt Ruffle – FLO): Working in the Front Loops Only of Round 12, [work 3 hdc in the first st, sl st in the next st]. Repeat this sequence all the way around the ghost.
Round 13b (Body Base – BLO): Fold the ruffle up slightly so you can see the unworked Back Loops of Round 12. Working into these Back Loops, [3 sc, 1 dec] repeat 6 times. (24 sts)
Round 14: Working in both loops normally again, [2 sc, 1 dec] repeat 6 times. (18 sts)
(The next two rounds close the bottom):
Round 15: [1 sc, 1 dec] repeat 6 times. (12 sts)
Round 16: 6 dec. (6 sts)
FO, leaving a tail. Thread the tail through the front loops of the remaining 6 sts and pull tight to close the hole perfectly. Weave in the ends.

Round 1 (Black Yarn): Make a MR, 3 sc into the ring. (3 sts)
Round 2 (Black Yarn): 3 inc. (6 sts)
Round 3 (Black Yarn): [1 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc] repeat 2 times. (8 sts)
Round 4 (Black Yarn): 1 sc in each st around. (8 sts)
Before joining Round 4, change to White yarn.
(Continuing with the white band and outer rim):
Round 5 (White Yarn): [3 sc, 1 inc] repeat 2 times. (10 sts)
Before joining Round 5, change back to Black yarn.
Round 6 (Black Yarn – FLO): Working in the Front Loops Only, 10 inc. (20 sts)
Round 7 (Black Yarn): Working in both loops normally, 1 sc in each st around. (20 sts)
FO with an invisible join. Leave a long black tail for sewing the hat to the ghost.
3. Assembly and Details
Attach the Hat: Position the little witch hat onto the top-right side of the ghost’s head. Use the long black yarn tail to carefully sew the rim of the hat (sewing between Round 6 and 7 of the hat) onto the head.
Add the Eyes: Count down to between Round 8 and Round 9 of the ghost’s body. Attach or glue the eyes here, leaving about 8 stitches of space between them.
Embroider the Mouth: Take a thin piece of black yarn on your needle. Embroider a small, sweet “V” shaped mouth right in the middle between the eyes.
Add Blush: Use a cotton swab or a small brush to dab a little bit of pink blush on the cheeks just below and to the outside edges of the eyes to give it a cute, lively look!
Finish: Attach a keychain ring to the top if you’d like to hang it on your bag.
