Step by Step Pattern:
Material List
Yarn: Green (Main body), Light Yellow or White (Foam/Cream), Red (Cherry).
Hooks: 3.5mm (6/0) for the bag, 3.0mm (5/0) for the cherry and keychain accessories.
Tools: Tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, sewing needle/thread, hot glue gun.
Accessories: Cord stopper, ball chain (for keychain), handmade label.

sc: Single crochet
inc: Increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec: Decrease

1. Bag Base (Green Yarn, 3.5mm Hook)
R1: 6 sc in MR. [6]
R2: 6 inc. [12]
R3: (1 sc, inc) x6. [18]
R4: (2 sc, inc) x6. [24]
R5: (3 sc, inc) x6. [30]
R6 (BLO): 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc) x5, 2 sc. [36]
R7: (5 sc, inc) x6. [42]
Note: To create the bottom edge texture, find the remaining loops from R6 and work 31 sc around (including the sl st space), then finish with sl st around the edge.
2. Bag Body (Green Yarn)
R8: (13 sc, inc) x3. [45]
R9: 7 sc, inc, (14 sc, inc) x2, 7 sc. [48]
R10–R20: 48 sc around (11 rounds total). [48]
R21 (Decorative Edge): 1 ch, insert hook, pull up long loop diagonally, twist the hook 360 degrees, sc. Repeat in every stitch around. Fasten off and weave in ends
3. Cream/Foam Section (Light Yellow/White Yarn)
R22: Attach yarn to the horizontal bars behind the R21 edge. Work 49 sc around.
R23 (FLO): Skip the first st, work 48 sc in front loops only. [48]
R24–R28: 48 sc around.
R29 (Eyelet Row): 3 ch (counts as hdc + 1 ch), skip 1 st, 1 hdc, 1 ch, skip 1 st. Repeat around. Sl st to the 2nd ch of the starting 3 ch.
R30 (Frill): In each 1-ch space: (sl st, 3 ch, sl st). Repeat in every gap around to create the scalloped top.
4. Mesh Outer Layer (Light Yellow/White Yarn)
Flip the bag upside down. Attach yarn to the remaining loops from R23.
R1: (7 ch, skip 3 st, 1 sc in 4th st) repeat around.
R2–R7: (7 ch, 1 sc in the center of the previous round’s 7-ch loop) repeat around.
R8: In each 7-ch loop, work 4 sc. [Total 48 sc if using 12 loops].
R9: 48 sc around. (Switch back to Green yarn here if desired).
5. Handle & Drawstring
Handle: Starting at the side of the bag, 1 sc, 40 ch, skip 10 st, 14 sc, 40 ch, skip 10 st, sc to start. Work one final round of sc over every stitch and every chain of the handle.
Drawstring: Create a long chain (approx. 100+ ch), thread it through the R29 eyelets, and attach the cord stopper.
6. Accessories (3.0mm Hook)
Cherry (Red):
R1: 5 sc in MR.
R2: 5 inc. [10]
R3–R4: 10 sc around.
R5: 5 dec. Stuff with fiberfill. Use the tail to sew the top closed and create a small stem loop.
Mini Cream Soda Keychain:
Follow the same pattern as the Bag Base and Body, but scaled down:
Base: 5 sc in MR, 5 inc, (4 sc, inc) x2.
Body: Work 3 rounds of Green, switch to White for 2 rounds.
Finish: Work sl st around the color change line for detail. Glue a mini cherry on top.
7. Final Assembly
Sew or hot glue the red cherry to the front of the green bag body.
Attach the “Handmade” label using sewing thread.
Attach the mini keychain to the handle using the ball chain.
